On Wednesday, March 19, following our Fellowship Meal, children of the M&M (Music & Missions) class will lead the adults through a missions learning experience, complete with games, crafts, and stories. The children will even have some crafts for sale, with all proceeds going to the Crosscreek Missions fund. This is a night you won’t want to miss!

Wednesday Night Meal on February 19, 2014:
Sloppy Joes, Chips, and Salad Bar
As many of you know, Jeri Liles, our Wednesday night cook, has been out lately with training for a job she was asked to do at work, as well as with her parents who are not in good health. She is trying to get her folks settled in new living arrangements which is very stressful for the caregiver, as many of you know. Jeri will be out for the next two weeks with her parents, and we need some volunteers to help Bruce do the meal on Wednesday evening. Please let Jeri or Bruce know if you are willing to work with him for the next couple of weeks.
In addition, Jeri will be out doing some training in mid to late April. We need some volunteers to cook on some Wednesday nights during this time when Jeri will be out. If we have enough volunteers, we can hopefully have our volunteers cooking on a rotational basis. Again, please let Jeri or Bruce know if you can help, or you can contact Pam at secretary, or call the church office at 663-4886.
If we don’t have any volunteers, what would you think about each family bringing their own dinner on those nights? Dixie has heard that some churches do that and families bring fast food, pizza, etc ., for their own family. Just wanted to see how our Wednesday night participants feel about this as a possible solution.
Please be in prayer for our Haiti Mission Team as they serve the people of Haiti by building rubble houses this week. This is very hard work, but we have very dedicated people. Pray for their safety and strength as they are away February 19 – 26, 2014.
